DR. SOMENATH MITRA

For the past 26 years, Dr. Somenath Mitra has been working toward making the lives of the poorest of the poor – those afflicted with HIV/AIDS & other chronic diseases – as normal as possible.

Homeopathic medicine has never been embraced by the modern medical community but despite this, Dr. Mitra’s programs have encountered a very high success rate that defies any attempt to disprove the scientific basis of homeopathic medicine.

From his base in Bangkok, Dr. Mitra has set up a program in Sangklaburi, Kanchanaburi province (5 hours northwest of Bangkok), treating many hundreds of poverty-stricken refugees from Burma and supplying the medicines and treatment completely free of charge.

MISSION

Dr. Mitra’s goal through his work is to help the poorest & underprivileged communities with a cost-effective health care program, which he says is only possible through a therapy like homeopathy.
